Hi, I'm Jacqui Seidel.

I've spent my career inside nonprofit and community health communications, writing the appeals, building the donor segments and making the signage the night before the event.

I know what it's like to have a powerful mission and no time to tell its story. The program staff are stretched, the annual report is late, and the year-end appeal looks a lot like last year's. Sparkwell exists to fix that.

I work with nonprofits, community health organizations, foundations and mission-driven businesses across the country, remotely and on your schedule.

How I work

I start with people. Before I write a word, I talk to the staff, volunteers and clients whose stories carry your mission.

I write for the reader. Donors, funders, board members and your own staff each need something different. I write for the person on the other end.

I respect your calendar. Board meetings, print deadlines and campaign dates are fixed. I plan backwards from them.
